My firefighters!

This is Isaac doing a search in our Den! He had answered a "fire call" and was searching for the fire. He was using his ax and his flashlight to help him. What a hoot!

Isaac showing off his new flash hood and mask! We looked high and low for these! We finally found the mask at Toys R Us and the flash hood was given to Isaac by Mr. Jimmy :) Thanks a million Mr. Jimmy!!

Isaac showing off his ax and extinguisher. He uses these on all of his "fire calls"!

My FireFighters!!
What a Daddy's boy I have!! It reminds me of that song where the little boy has been watching his Daddy to see what to do. Isaac wants to do EVERYTHING his Daddy does. This weekend he even had to go Potty at the same time. It makes me want a girl, so I can have a little shadow, although he does have lots of Mommy moments too, so I can't complain too much!
Ever since Russell has started at the fire department, Isaac's obsession has grown. Now, he has the complete gear, minus an air tank, which his Daddy is working on trying to create.
We are very excited that Daddy will graduate from the Fire Academy May 3 at 7:00!!!
Yeah Daddy!

A Growing Boy

It's so hard to believe how big Isaac is getting! In another month he will be 3 1/2 and the time just continues to fly. After staying at the very bottom of growth percentiles for the last 2 years, he is finally starting to grow!! Many of his pants are too short and we had to go to size 10 in shoes!! It has been so hard to believe how he has shot up all of the sudden.
Isaac continues to struggle with his asthma. Right now with all the pollen and other allergens in the air he is really struggling. He has dark circles under his eyes and looks very weak eyed almost every day. We are still on 4 different medicines daily to combat this along with breathing treatments via nebulizer as needed. Right now we are doing nebulizer treatments every 4 hours because his cough is more like a bark.
Isaac's way with words continues to amaze me as well. Last week he told me that our dog "Chewy Louie" was really getting on his nerves and that he wished I would stop aggravating him because it was really making him angry. Whew! What fun 3 year olds are.
Isaac still won't sleep in his bed, he says its not comfortable and that he just doesn't feel like sleeping in his bed. It seems he likes our bed better. The good news is he will go in there and go to sleep by himself now. In November, before I got sick, Isaac refused to sleep in our bed or even lay in it. He was a big boy he professed and needed to sleep in his bed by himself. But, ever since I've been sick it's like he's scared to be too far away from us. I love snuggling with him, but I hate that it comes because he is worried.
