Everytime I start feeling bogged down with everything I have going on, I stop and look at Raegan! With 3 BOYS (7months, 2 1/2, 5) Raegan is full time Mommy, housekeeper, referree, and more. She inspires me so, with her easy going nature, her clean house, and her willingness to help others. Despite having 3 of her own boys to take care of, Raegan is always willing to help us with Isaac when we need a hand. It's easy to feel like Mommy duties go unnoticed, but Ragean-you are amazing and an inspiration to us all :)

Frazzled?? Really??

Lana has to be the least frazzled female I know! She has such a full plate: wife, mommy, science coach, leadership school, children's choir, search committee, friend, and I'm sure she could think of more to add. But, she does it all in a way that she is a blessing and wonderful witness.

In our busy days it is so easy to get snowed under and forget that we are loved, needed, and great at what we do-Don't forget it! I love you girl!

Around the World in an Evening!

Tuesday night we had the pleasure of attending a Women's Missions Banquet at our church, Landrum First Baptist

Different ladies within the church sponsored and decorated tables from different countries. Emily Fitchpatrick, from On Eagles Wings Ministries spoke, as well as a local Missionary from the North American Mission Board who is based in Asheville, NC.

It was a wonderful evening, with great food and fellowship, but most importantly a great message from these ladies. A reminder of our call to go forth and tell. It really hit home for me. That I have been to complacent and eager to just sit back and watch the world whirl around me. It opened my eyes to opportunities around me and made me eager to spend more time spreading God's love.

Of course, it doesn't take much to get my mind rolling, so I'm left with many questions to ponder and pray over. God has been so good to us-I am so blessed, and more than anything I pray for the opportunity to help others know his love and feel his touch.

Finally Found the Pictures

This happened in our yard during one of the last bad storms right before we went back to school. Isaac and I were home by ourselves and the tree fell. We never even knew that it had happened! In the last picture you can see the one section of trunk that is barely standing-it looks like that's where our guardian angel was standing to make sure the tree didn't land on US!!! That is the only reason the tree is not on our house :) This was one monster tree! Our yard is still not completely back to normal, but thanks to some wonderful friends who have given of their time and let us borrow equipment, it continues to look better and better!!!

Rehearsal Dinner

We had a great time at the rehearsal dinner Friday Night! It was under the tent outside the church, great food, great friends, and great fun :)

We don't have any pictures yet with people, but thought everyone would enjoy seeing the decorations from Dustin and Amber's wedding this weekend. Mom and Amber had planned for a long time to have everything look just right and I think it turned out great!!

Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen Updates-So I have been horrible about updating lately, so I thought this would be my chance to fill you in on everything!! And then we will get back on schedule :)



1. Weightwatchers-I have lost almost 8 pounds. It has been hard, because we have been super busy and I haven't been able to exercise, but I hope that will change sooooon.



2. Isaac-Isaac who would have gone to school all summer and even on Saturdays has decided now that he doesn't like his preschool. His friends are mean, he doesn't like anybody and he just wants to go to the big school where I teach.



3. Sleeping-Isaac is doing MUCH better sleeping in his bed. He still gets in bed with us, but most nights we are getting him in his bed without major meltdowns. This is a huge praise.



4. School-I am finally getting my juggling act down at school. It is not a picnic, but I have an amazing assistant who saves the day! I couldn't do it without her. God has really shown me through this that there are some things that I have to let go, giving this to him was hard, but the results have been amazing. It's tough, but I don't feel like a hamster in a wheel. We still have to work on some things, but we are getting there :)

5. Our family-For those of you that don't know we recently joined the church I grew up in!! This was a major praise for me and a major step for our family!! I am so thrilled to have a church to call home again where I can serve and worship our amazing Lord!

6. Russell-Russell's family and our close friends joined us last week for his baptism!!! Isaac was even able to go upstairs, this was a very special time for our family.

7. My 10 year high school reunion is looming-yuck!!!!

8.My baby brother is getting married in 2 days!!!!

9.My house is decked out for fall and I'm loving it!! I could leave it like this all year :)

10.150 wedding programs and favors are stacked and waiting for my brothers wedding! They are sooooo cute. I promise pictures :)

11.My sweet baby boy is going to be 4 in 2 short months. It is truly unbelievable.

12. Russell turns the big 30 next week! WOW he's getting old!! We met 2 weeks before he turned 21!!
